After the earthquakes recorded last evening, that hit again Italy Central, ISPRA is ready to provide technical and scientific support to face the emergency in accordance with and on the request of the Civil Protection Department.The Institute continues to work, with its own experts, in areas of the Earthquake of August 24, both in terms of inspections to define of landslides and hydrogeological instability and for the conclusion of the seismic micro-zoning.
Old upgrades
ISPRA is continuing activities in the places affected by the earthquake. Since 10 days the SNPA is working together side of ISPRA after the third large earthquake. The ARPAs operating in the territory are ARPA Toscana, Liguria, Puglia, Lombardy, in alternative. These ARPAs have indeed geological expertise to active teams in the field for checks the instability of the slopes and for the hydrogeological compatibility of sites intended for temporary housing units.
