As part of the events "Waiting for the European Researchers' Night", on Saturday 12 September the NET project proposes a scientific talk about the marine research, ecological beach and oceanic Posidonia. ISPRA experts and the University of Tor Vergata will discuss the role of female scientists in the study of marine ecosystems. Later other topics will regard the ecological beach and oceanic posidonia and the ecological role of this precious marine plant. The NET project presents "Sailing with the research in Livorno"

The Net project proposes a scientific day to focus on the sea protection with the researchers of ISPRA and CNR-IBE and with with the support of Italian Navy League Livorno section. At the Porto Mediceo in Livorno there will be discussed the study of marine ecosystems, and how from the knowledge of marine habitats solutions can be found to preserve their biodiversity and improve the health of the sea. A demonstration on the “Merope” boat would be also possibilet with scientific instruments used by researchers for the collection of plankton, sediment and water samples and for the study of marine biodiversity in underwater diving.

At the CineVillage Arena Parco Talenti, a weekend dedicated to science with workshops, interactive activities, talks for children - and not only - the NET corner. It will be the opportunity to discover science in a fun way. It starts on Friday 25 September with ' A whole different climate. The century of global challenges ': in an age of global challenges, science is the fundamental key to interpretation to open our eyes to the future and make informed choices. With Donatella Bianchi, WWF president, author and host of Linea Blu, Antonello Pasini, climate physicist Cnr-Iia and Alessandra Celi of Fridays For Future Italia will be faced the themes about climate, environment, health and the importance of correct communication.
