Bioindication of the mapping process and census of macromycetes in a protected area
Rome, May 25, ISPRA, Via Curtatone 3, 10:00 am
The congress aims to present the results of the researches
carried out in recent years at the Natural Reserve of Monte Rufeno,
based on the new perspectives offered by the study of macromycetes
as indicators of environmental quality.
The development of mycological studies, resulting from ISPRA's
"Special Project Mashroom", showed a new face of the work of
"mycologist rangers". From a simple searching activity aimed at
drafting a checklist of the fungus living in the protected area, to
an ecological studying activity aimed at finding out the
connections and interactions between fungus and all
their abiotic and biotic environment.
