Planktonic foraminifera of the Cretaceous

ISPRA organizes a course to illustrate the evolutionary processes
of the planktonic foraminifera of the Cretaceous through the
distinctive morphological features of different taxa, temporal
distribution and their palaeoecological and paleoceanographic
significance.The goal is to provide a practical working tool for
those who work in thi sector and especially to those involved in
geological survey and mapping.
The training activities is aimed at researchers, geologists of the
Geological Services, the Regional and Provincial Agencies and other
public bodies, as well as graduate and university students and
students. The course, organized in two days, includes lectures
combined with theoretical and practical activities using the
microscope.
