ISPRA participates at the "Transparency Table" on the decommissioning of the Caorso power plant

It was held last  20 April at the council hall of the Municipality of Caorso the first meeting of the "table of Transparency" on the decommissioning of the Caorso organized by Emilia Romagna.

The representative of the Department of Nuclear, Technological and Industrial Risk of ISPRA presented the aspects concerning authorization and control, with special reference to the method of decommissioning management in compliance with the requirements of nuclear safety and radioprotection.

It was also provides information on the activities carried out by ISPRA for the setting process of the National Deposit ,which it will be also sent radioactive waste from the Caorso power plant, with particular reference to the preparation of G.T. No. 29 on the setting criteria and the verification and validation of the SO.G.I.N. proposal on National Charter of Areas Potentially Eligible (CNAPI)
