Mario Signorino died at age 78

President of ISPRA Bernardo De Bernardinis expresses its sympathy and deep sadness at the death of the first President of the National Agency for Environmental Protection, the current ISPRA

"All of us owe much to Mario Signorini," said De Bernardinis, "because he tenaciously pursued law 61/94, which was the beginning of the long, arduous but also engaging and exciting path and growth of what it is today sanctioned as a National System of Environmental Protection (SNPA)".
