International Meeting of MARINA project on suistainable tourism and Maritime cuisine
ISPRA will partecipate in the workshop organised in the framework of the MARINA project funded by the European Commission’s Horizon 2020 programme and hosted by Nausicaa, National Sea Experience Centre, one of the biggest aquariums in Europe and one of the most visited tourist sites in France. The workshop will bring together European and national representatives from tourism and seafood industry, researchers, policy makers, civil society and citizens. It is aimed at exchanging knowledge and expectations and proposing a sustainable and integrated roadmap of recommendations based on Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) dimensions: public engagement, gender balance, open access, science education, governance and ethics. After the seminar organized by ISPRA in Venice on 4 April, the second international seminar on the MARINA project will take place on 11 May. The theme "Maritime cuisine meets sustainable tourism, challenges and opportunities" will be presented in Boulogne-sur-Mer at the site of the French project partner, the Aquarium and the Nausicaá National Center for the Sea.
