Twenty-third meeting sessions of Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice

Today in Montreal, headquarter of Convention on Biological Diversity, CBD) has been opened the twenty-third meeting session del Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA-23).
The Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA ) has been established by the article 25 by the Convention on Biological Diversity, CBD to provide the Conference of the Parties (COP) with timely advice on the implementation of the Convention.
The SBSTTA-23 will consider the following points:
- Informing the scientific and technical evidence base for the post‑2020 global biodiversity framework
- Biodiversity and climate change
- Possible elements of work on the links between nature and culture in the post-2020 global biodiversity framework.
- Sustainable wildlife management.
- Technical and scientific cooperation
- Results of the Regional Workshop to Facilitate the Description of Ecologically or Biologically Significant Marine Areas in the North-East Atlantic Oceam
- New and emerging issues.
