Ispra researchers at the international conference lagoons and estuaries

The biennial edition of EUROLAG took place in Venice from 20 to 24 January 2020, the event that brings together researchers, managers and stakeholers who deal with the protection and management of natural environments consisting of estuaries and lagoons. In the different sessions, the conference analyzed the issue of the functionality of ecosystems in transition waters, the management of climatic and environmental challenges to which the ecosystem services produced by these coastal areas are subjected, their resilience and adaptation to the impacts produced by climate change.

At the important international event, which also tried to provide answers to the disastrous flood in Venice last November,some ISPRA researchers also took part, who presented posters and communications on the activities of the Interreg Change We Care, LIFE Lagoon Refresh projects., LIFE Seresto and the recent exceptional tide events in Venice.
