NET project for the European Researchers' Night 2020
This year's European Researchers' Night is enriched with a new project. It's called "NET" and its goal is to realize an active network between science, culture and society
The Night has been a fixture on the last Friday of September since 2005, but this year, due to the Covid-19 emergency, will take place on Friday 27 November. However, NET's preparatory events will kick off this summer.
It will be an inclusion of researchers, institutions, associations, the protagonists of the world of culture and art and all those actors operating in the area who promotes science through simple, direct and involving but, at the same time, rigorous information and authoritative, thanks to an excellent scientific partnership.
In particular, the NET project includes ten of the most important public research bodies and universities in our country: CNR (which is also the leader), ENEA, INAF, INGV, ISPRA, CINECA, University of Rome "Tor Vergata", Sapienza University of Rome, University of Tuscia, International Telematic University UNINETTUNO.
