Green Week 2020
The EU Green Week Conference, the central event to promote European Union environmental policy is taking place from 19 to 22 October 2020.The message is A NEW BEGINNING FOR PEOPLE AND NATURE.
EU Green Week 2020 is now scheduled for 19-22 October 2020, on the theme of nature and biodiversity. After the adoption of a new EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 in May, Green Week will highlight the contribution biodiversity can make to society and the economy, and the role it can play in supporting and stimulating recovery in a post-pandemic world, bringing jobs and sustainable growth. The event will be organized totally in virtual modalities, with a series of conference and a exhibition.
ISPRA will be present at the Green Week Exhibition with a virtual stand to present its activities with LIFE LAGOON REFRESH, LIFE ASAP, LIFE SE POSSO and BARGAIN projects and much more, as examples of the contribution of nature and biodiversity to the Green recovery. At ISPRA virtual stand, in addition to the reference documents of the quoted projects, it will be possible to access the official website, the institutional and communication channels and products but also the documentaries produced by Ispra on conservation and restoration of biodiversity. Through a completely innovative and interactive mode, the visitor can speak live with the staff of the Exhibition through an online chat, to ask questions, request further information, upload documents and view video clips.
The public is invited to participate at the numerous sessions of the event and at the EU Green Week exhibition experience.
