III Report Euromobility on Sustainable Mobility
Rome, December 21,
In Rome on 21 December, Euromobility will present the third report
on sustainable mobility, assigning the "report card" to 50 Italian
cities. The press conference is at 11 am at the Dragan European
Foundation, Foro Traiano 1/A.
The use of private cars for the Italian people is still very high:
in Latina and Rome is above 70%. The cities, more and more besieged
by traffic and smog, are demanding urgent actions on sustainable
mobility, able to counteract the high index of motorization that in
many Italian cities is much higher than the European average.
Ecomobility shows vices and virtues of our cities on personal
transport. The city of Aosta has a record for having the fewest
number of cars Euro 0 in circulation. LPG or CNG cars instead
show a real "boom". Good news for the bike sharing and car sharing
whose users see increasing. Genoa is one of the city where you can
"breathe better".
