Presence in air of of Iodine in some European countries
November 18 The International Agency for Atomic Energy of the United Nations (IAEA) in Vienna, published on its website in November 11, the news by the nuclear safety of Czech Republic of the presence in air of very low levels of Iodine 131, and surveys of a similar nature were also confirmed by other European countries. In a statement t IAEA underlines that the measured values are still so low that does not present any risk to the health of the population. The French Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety, IRSN, in a press release issued November 16, confirms that even in France were measured traces of iodine 131 in the atmosphere.
