Technical explorative survey on the phenomenon of dead bees inside the natural protected areas

ISPRA has has recently completed the survey launched in 2009 by
MATTM in collaboration with the Institute Sperimental
Zooprofilattico of Lazio and Tuscany (IZS/LT), the
Institute Sperimental Zooprofilattico of Venices (IZS / VE), the
Department of Agro-environmental Sciences and Technologies (DiSTA)
University of Bologna and the Department of Physiological Sciences,
University of Pisa.
The study aimed to monitor, in five protected areas, the impact on
bees (die-offs, depopulation, the presence of residues in hive
products, etc..) of pollutants released into the environment by
human activities.
