Ispra in the National Commission major risks
By Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers no 6696 Of 28 December, the members of the National Commission for the prediction and prevention of major risks have been appointed.

The Commission, created by the Head of Civil Protection Department, Prefect Franco Gabrielli, represents a link between the Department and the scientific community and consists of 5 sectors that will provide technical and scientific contributions to the DPC in respect of 5 categories of risk in our country:
- earthquakes;
- volcanic risk;
- meteorological and hydrological, hydraulic and landslide risk;
- chemical, nuclear, industrial and transportation risk;
- environmental and forest fires.
