Projects Suports

The project Suports, approved as part of the INTERREG IVC European Programme, lasted three years (January 2010 - December 2012). ISPRA's Portal Areas Sector is also listed among the participants.

The goal of the project was to provide small ports, which often do not have sufficient financial resources and expertise, the tools needed to improve their environmental performance.

All results were collected in a report which addresses mainly three major themes: the dredging activities, biodiversity and stakeholder participation in decision-making of the port. For each issue, a first introductory part is followed by the presentation of the best practices identified by the partners and bt a conclusive part of comments.
