Encyclical "Laudato Si", an incentive for the scientific community and citizens

"The Pope has always shown interest for the environmental protection and is also confirmed in the encyclical presented today" has declared Mr. Stefano Laporta, General Director of ISPRA. "The document of Pope Francis is an incentive for our commitment to continue the research activities  on environmental issues, in an historical moment in which, to use the words of the Pope, social and environmental crisis are strongly linked. It would be necessary  to take responsibility not only  by scientific community, but from all us as a citizens, encouraged by a source so authoritative to produce good behaviors in the environment where we live”
