Press note regarding bear aggression in Trento

On June 10 a man of 45 years, who was walking a trail in Trento, was attacked by a bear, with serious injuries and a prognosis of 30 days. The attack happened at 17.45; the Province of Trento informed  ISPRA at 19.12. The next day at 10:30, there was a video conference attended by the President of  Trento Province of and the Assessor for Environment, the General Director of the Ministry of Environment and officials and technical experts for different  authorities . ISPRA has participated with  Mr. Piero Genovesi, head of advisory service ISPRA for wildlife issues and expert of bears.
