Call for WaterWorks 2014 to strengthen the EU research and innovation cooperation in the water field

The call for WaterWorks2014 pre-proposals will end on 05.04.2015. The project's goal is the strengthening of the research and innovation cooperation for the development of technological solutions and services in the water field.

The call covers the following topics:

1. water treatment, reuse, recycling and desalination;
2. water resources management;
3. mitigation of the impacts of extreme events (floods, droughts)

WaterWorks 2014 addresses the European water challenges through the development of research and innovation activities in a multinational and multidisciplinary perspective. It is aimed to put together the efforts of the European research centers strategic agendas on water and is funded by 17 Bodies of 15 different countries and the European Commission. The funding agency for Italy is the Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR).
