Scientific diplomacy, Ispra meets the “Science Diplomacy Club” of Rome

A delegation from the Science Diplomacy Club, the network of diplomats responsible for science and technology at foreign embassies in Italy, visited ISPRA to develop a scientific collaboration plan between the Institute, the diplomatic representations in Italy and their respective countries. The initiative is part of the context of international activities developed by ISPRA in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to promote Italian research in the environmental field and increase the scientific competitiveness of the country system in the world. The Institute presented to diplomats some of the activities that have greater connections with the international framework, including the European program Copernicus in the environmental field.
