Bonelli's Eagle returns to Sardegna
In Bitti (NU) public meeting with citizens to present the initiative
It will be hosted in the Tepilora Park, province of Nuoro, a public meeting on the European project "Aquila a-Life" for the reintroduction in Sardegna of a species now extinct on the island the Aquila di Bonelli. During summer 2018 some rapacious chicks coming from Spain and France will arrive in Sardegna to be included in the Park territory. Their development will be constantly monitored by ISPRA experts and the Spanish naturalist association Grefa until their reintroduction to wildlife.
