Nuclear safety, chinese delegation meets ISIN

This morning, at the ISPRA headquarters in Rome the visit of a delegation of senior Chinese officials from the Ministry of Ecology and the Environment, a nuclear section. The guests were welcomed by the managers  and researchers of the National Inspectorate for Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection (ISIN).

The meeting is one of the stages in Italy included by the course  "Radioactive waste and nuclear plants decommissioning" organized by Politecnico of Milano as part of the Italy-China training program.

The first part of the training course held  n Beijing last July with the coordination of POLIMI and the collaboration of some SOGIN experts; the project now includes 2 weeks in Italy. For the Inspectorate of ISIN, a precious opportunity to present themselves to the Chinese delegation, just a few months after the handover with ISPRA.
