Conservation ex situ of the vegetable species biodiversity
Apat (Department of Nature Protection) - in collaboration with
the Net Italian germoplasm banks for the threatened
spontaneous plants (Ribes), with the Interregional workgroup for
the biodiversity and the garden centers (Bioforv) and with the
Ministry of the agricultural alimentary and forestal policies is
organizing, for the month of September, a workshop in which will be
examined the progress achieved till today on the topic of the ex
situ conservation but also on the critical points.
In this same occasion the workgroup intends to present a document,
where weak points and excellence points of the sector in Italy are
underlined, also writing down a list of the actions to perform
within 2010 and within 2014.
