RaStEM: a support tool for the design of hydrogeological risk mitigation interventions
The workshop "RaStEM: a support tool for the design of hydrogeological risk mitigation interventions" will be held in Rome on 15 May.
RaStEM - Standardized Representation of Mitigation Effects - is a web gis tool developed by ISPRA with the dual purpose of guiding designers to a clear and homogeneous representation of the significant elements of a hydrogeological risk mitigation intervention and supporting them in the drafting of projects consistent with the criteria established by current legislation (DPCM 09/27/2021) for their financing by the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (MASE).

The workshop presents the methodological criteria that underlie the development of RaStEM and some exemplary cases of its use. The new implementations are also described which allow the data of a RaStEM project to be integrated into the ReNDiS-web platform by automatically importing them into the preliminary information sheet defined by the Prime Ministerial Decree of 09/27/2021 for the purposes of submitting the project financing application to the MASE.
The event is one of the information opportunities that ISPRA and the Orders of Engineers and Geologists are organizing in close collaboration in the area to promote an increasingly effective and constructive discussion between the main stakeholders involved in the drafting, approval, evaluation and financing process of projects for the mitigation of hydrogeological risk
