General objectives

Develop a collaboration with local beach managers aimed at promoting good beach management practices

Specific goals

• collection of information on beached posidonia (banquette)
• promotion and adoption of the Ecological Beach model
• environmental education and training activities
• acquisition of data and information on the state of the marine environment through Citizen Science activities

Summary scheme of activities

• PHASE 1: training and information activities on environmental issues aimed at citizens and/or stakeholders
• PHASE 2: creation of the Ecological Beach model
• PHASE 3: educational laboratory activities
• PHASE 4: collaboration in the SZN activities for monitoring and protecting the Caretta caretta turtle nests
• PHASE 5: dissemination of results during the period 2022-2025 and implementation of specific events.
