Guidelines for the application of the EMAS Regulations for parks and nature reserves

As indicated by the World Conference on parks held in Caracas in 1992, the conservation of biodiversity is first reached via the correct system of maintenance of the protected areas. These new guidelines are aimed at the Enti Parco (Park Bodies), so that they will approach adhesion to EMAS in an operative way. This certification represents an important instrument for the improvement of the environment, and also has an ethical, economic and social value.
