Tidegraphic weather observation stations in the lagoon of Venice and over coastal northern Adriatic

The systematic measurements of the height of the tide in the lagoon of Venice and over coastal northern Adriatic Sea are a unique component in the overall environmental observation activities of the river basin district Triveneto. This inspection was conducted for almost one hundred years by Hydrographic Office, since 2002 has been taken by APAT. The weather and tide gauge data s distributed inside and outside the lagoon are the basis of this analytical work and preparation needed to catch every change in an ever-changing environmental scenario
