Census campaign to collaborate to information gathering on some endangered or protected marine species
The Agreement RAMOGE, has launched a campaign of participative science with the aim to involve sea users. Recreational divers and sunbathers are invited to share their observations on some marine protected or endangered species.
The collection of this information will enrich the knowledge on the distribution and on the status of the populations of 4 marine species:
- two fishes: the brown meagre (Sciaena umbra) and the dusky grouper (Epinephelus marginatus),
- two molluscs: the noble pen shell (Pinna nobilis) and the Ribbed Mediterranean Limpet (Patella ferruginea)
