Second Report on the State of Natural Capital in Italy
The Natural Capital Committee, lead by the Ministry of Environment, Land and Sea (MATTM), is composed by 10 Ministries, the National Association Italian Municipalities (ANCI), Regions’ Conference, 5 Public Research Bodies and 9 experts assigned by MATTM.
The second edition aims to strengthen the debate about the topic of natural capital and the its integration in decision making, that thank to a stronger cooperation between experts, national and international research centers, public administrations, great progress have been achievements for the definition of a methodological path for the attribution of a monetary measurement of the flow of Ecosystem Services produced by our Natural Capital.
The Report has been implemented by experts group from University, research centers and business sectors, and also ISPRA, ISTAT and Bank of Italy.
