Air, water, earth, fire: the environment explored through cartography
From 25 to 27 September 2024, the Annual Conference of the Italian Cartography Association will be held in Rome, at the headquarters of the Italian Geographical Society, which brings together the state cartographic bodies on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the foundation.
The conference intends to place cartography at the basis of environmental information as an indispensable tool in the analysis of processes, with a view to integrated territorial protection. Cartography and environmental management represent the underlying theme of this sixtieth conference.

ISPRA, with its Atlas of environmental data, participates in the research and dissemination of knowledge of natural processes in Italy, thus deepening the relationships between the evolutionary framework and anthropic activity.
The event, organized by AIC and ISPRA, aims to strengthen the relationship between the environment and create common actions for the management, protection, protection and enhancement of the territory.
To participate in the conference it is necessary to register on the dedicated web page of the Italian Cartography Association, where it will be possible to consult the registration procedures in detail.
