Overview of Italian aquaculture
This
volume incorporates the experiences gained during a research
project sponsored by ICRAM, called “Data monitoring of
national aquaculture 2006", carried out through the collaboration
of the Italian fish breeders Association (API). The objective of
this project, consisting in data collection and updating of
aquaculture production in Italy until 2006, is essentially to
maintain an effective system of detection, updating the series
collected from the first half of the 80s by ICRAM and API.
