Memorandum of Understanding signed between ISPRA and the Port Captaincies

Last 19 October at the General Headquarters of the Corps of the Port Captaincies was signed a  Memorandum of Understanding for 3 years between ISPRA and Italian Port Captaincies at the presence of the Admiral Mr. Felicio Angrisano, General Commander of the Corps of the Port Captaincies - Coast Guard and Mr. Bernadro De Bernardinis president of ISPRA.

Among the topics covered by the Memorandum of Understanding above all the specialized training, improvement of  the scientific quality of operative controls, advancement of environmental knowledge for the maritime activities and port areas,integration of useful information for the marine and coasts  protection and environmental security of the activities that take place here.

The agreement represents  the start of a synergic work to protect the marine and coastal environment, with the aim of promoting cooperation between the two Institutions, according proper functions and for the strengthening of the skills and competencies of the respective activities.
