Study on production factor of wastes in the tannery sector

The aim of the study is to estimate the total production of waste products from Tuscan tannery district. In Tuscany, in fact, takes place over a quarter of national production tanning and almost a fifth of EU production. It evaluated the environmental impact of the sector, through the analysis of the production cycle of the tannery, highlighting the problems related to consumption (raw materials, energy, water) and emissions.
