Quaterly bulletin on research funding in the field of water protection

The actual management of quality marine resources is inadequate, both in Europe and in the world, despite the several international conventions. Since 2002, marine protection has become one of the seven thematic strategies of the EC regarding the sixth  environment protection plan; after six years, in June 2008, the EU has finally adopted its ambitious marine strategy, which is an environmental pillar of the integrated maritime policy of the EC.
