In addition, the COP4 which took place online and in presence in Kunming, from 1 to 15 October 2021, in which Ministers of the environment (or heads of delegation present in China) present signed the Kunming Declaration: "Ecological Civilization: Building a Shared Future for All Life on Earth ”which represents the commitment of the countries signing the Convention for the next few years.

The discussions and the results of the first session of the OEWG3 are contained in the Report  prepared for the topics of competence of the ISPRA experts who participated in the meetings.
The next preparation meetings for the COP and COp-MOP will be held in Geneva from 13 to 29 March 2022  (https://www.cbd.int/meetings/).
