11th meeting of the European Competent Authorities Association for Transport of Radioactive Materials (EACA)

The 11th meeting EACA took place on 6 and 7 May 2015 at ISPRA's headquarters, with the participation of 26 representatives of the competent authorities for the transport of radioactive materials from 14 Eu and extra-EU countries and also the representative of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The EACA, of which Italy is a member through ISPRA since 2008, is an organization created with the aim to exchange information, develop guidelines for the practical application of international regulations for the transport of radioactive materials, discuss and make proposals for changing the same regulation.
