Agreement signed between Chinese Geological Survery and ISPRA
A delegation of the Geological Survey of China, led by its Deputy Director-General Dr. Wang Yan, today met with the Director General of ISPRA Stefano Laporta and some representatives of the Geological Survey of Italy. During the visit a Memorandum of Agreement was signed between the Chinese Geological Service and ISPRA focused on possible developments for future cooperation on issues of common interest, such as geological mapping, marine geology, geological hazard, environmental geology, storage of CO2 and climate change on a global scale.

The Chinese Geological Survey consists of about 10 thousand units and the bilateral agreement will be the 41st one that the Chinese Geological Service concludes with a homologue National Geological Survey.
