Bringing again the cities to account, according to the UN
March 29 The UN launches the first global system for calculating greenhouse gas emissions in the cities. The count per capita assigns to some Italian cities CO2 values ranging from 4 tons (province of Naples), to 9.7 (Turin), against 11.1 (province of Bologna). Internationally, Rotterdam, with 29.8 million tonnes of CO2 per capita, is the most polluted cities.
