Seismic event in Slovenia - The situation in the nuclear power plant of Krško
After the seismic event happened the 1st November in Slovenia ISPRA together with ARPA FVG has monitored the situation in the nuclear power plant of Krško.
The Agency has contacted the Slovenian Nuclear Safety Authority (SNSA - Slovenian Nuclear Safety Administration) that confirmed a seismic event occurred at 8:22 in an area close to the nuclear power plant, with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter scale.
The shake didn’t produce any automatic shutdown in the power plant and because wasn’t find any anomaly, the plant has continued to work regularly.
