Annual report to the Ministry of the Environment and of the Protection of the Territory on the characteristics of certain liquid fuels, produced, imported and used in 2001

APAT has the task of compiling an annual report on liquid fuels, produced, imported and used in Italy, and on their sulphur content. The report is then passed on to the European Commission via the Ministry of the Environment and of the Protection of the Territory. The research is part of a European strategy, whose aim is to reduce emissions of pollutants, such as oxidants and sulphur into the atmosphere, and therefore to guarantee greater protection of health and of the environment.
