Environmental information catalogue of SINA network
The report presents the specifications for the re-definition of the catalog SOURCES tool for the census and the publication of environmental information resources shared by the SINA network. The proposal is a summary of what ihas been produced in the year 2006, in the line of business 'products and services for information management and information 'resources of the project Technical Board interagency SSDS. In the first part, it gives an account of the activities of the project, which starts from an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the various versions of the catalog . This was established in 1999 following a European initiative and has since been revised to improve its usability. The recent regulations not only induce the General Government to compile and make available its own information resources but also to facilitate access by using the latest computer technology. Hence the proposal for a new catalog that responds fully to the requirements.
