New publication of the European Environment Agency "Policy Briefing" on Marine Protected Areas in European seas

The European Environment Agency (EEA) has recenlty published a paper on the Marine protected areas of european sea and the contets were presented last 29 october by the European Commissioner for Environment Karmenu Vella, in the whole of Summit "Our Ocean 2018"

The contents of the document are based on the results of the statistical and spatial analysis carried out by the ISPRA working group related to th  Area for the protection of biodiversity, protected habitats and marine species that, as a partner of the European thematic center for inland, coastal and marine water(ETC/ ICM), is responsible for a specific module on the assessment of the ecological coherence of Marine Protected Areas in European seas.
