The topic of multifunctional renaturation, full part of Green Economy, is usually addressed from the perspective of soil bioengineering, architecture and landscape ecology, ecological networks, urban forestation up to those of green infrastructure and nature-based solutions.
But the terms used in the different disciplines and legislations are not always aligned in their relations and this generates overlaps and confusions that often make lose the overall and complementary picture.
The Workshop want to be an opportunity to discuss on the possibility of reordering the terminology and application references of the sector and on the potential of renaturation actions as driver with respect to the objectives of Green New Deal.
During the Workshop will be remember Giuliano Sauli, the main Italian reference for Soil Bioengineering.
