Italian experiences on Green Economy

In view of the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development, held in Rio de Janeiro from 20 to 22 June 2012 ("Rio 20"), a web portal has been activated: http://rio20.cursa.it/ to collect the experiences of Italian civil society in terms of Green Economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty reduction.
The initiative, designed to give effect to the "Civil Society Forum" is promoted by the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, in collaboration with the Cursa - University Consortium for Research socioeconomic and Environment.
To register to the portal, it is necessary to insert your e-mail address and password. The best practices gathered will help to define a mapping of the potential and opportunities from the civil society to promote the Green Economy in Italy, and to strengthen the Italian contribution to the Rio Conference in subsequent national and international commitments on sustainable development.
