The initiatives for the International Year of the Planet Earth
(IYPE) are increasing: next 22 August will begin " La Via
dell'Acqui ", cultural event hosted by the well known Piedmontese
thermal resort.
The 2008 edition will be devoted to the IYPE and its goals, among
which the development of the Sciences of the Earth and the
invitation to a more sustainable consumption, through a path that
runs among tradition, nature, scientific knowledge and
culture.
On 23 August, at Robellini Palace, will take place the conference
"Geology of the Wine Territories", in which will take part the
general secretary of the Italian IYPE Committee, Luca De Micheli
and several representatives of the national academia, the
Institutions and local productive reality.
