Seminar
Rome, March 23, ISPRA, Sala Fazzini, via Curtatone 3
ISPRA holds, through its National Ringing Center, the most extended
zoological databases existing in Italy, which are used to provide
management guidance to the public administration and to comply with
various obligations arising from EU Directives and International
Conventions for the protection of biodiversity. The seminar
illustrates this reality, which represents a good example of
citizens science, with wide networks of volunteers, which allow our
country to partecipate in the integrated monitoring systems
operating on a larger geographical scale.
