Contribution to the knowledge of historical mycological diversity in Italy. Alphabetic collection of fact sheets of the Herbarium mycologicum of the Natural History Museum in Venice. Da Agaricus bresadolanus Bohus a Bryoscyphus conocephali (Boyd) Spooner.

Mushrooms are good indicators used in the study and monitoring of environmental biodiversity.

The Manual " Contribution to the knowledge of historical mycological diversity in Italy. Alphabetic collection of fact sheets of the Herbarium mycologicum of the Natural History Museum in Venice" is a collection of descriptive historical cards relating to the artefacts exhibited in the venetian Herbarium mycologicum.

Since 1987, at the Museum of Natural History in Venice, more than 29,000 artefacts have been deposited: data contained in the cards provide useful information on the mycological species typical of different habitats, including species worthy of protection and those that, thanks to their characteristics, can be used as bio-indicators.

This book and the next are prepared by following an alphabetical order.
