On 29 April, citizens, with the support of the Institute's experts, will be able to observe the flora and fauna present on the Tor Marancia estate and thus contribute to providing reports for the purpose of the international competition of the CNC. The event will take place through a trekking along a circular route of about 2 km in an area that falls within the territory of the Appia Antica Regional Park, the largest urban protected area in Europe.
The meeting intends to make participants aware of the importance of land management and monitoring of protected areas with reference to the Natura 2000 network as the main instrument of European Union policy for the conservation of biodiversity.
