Opened the first joint call of the JPI WATER

About 9 million Euros were addressed to 11 public institutions from 10 European countries , which are part of joint programming initiative "Water challenges for a changing world " for transnational cooperation between public and private bodies  on the theme " Emerging water contaminants - anthropogenic pollutants and pathogens ".

Project proposals must be submitted by December 19, 2013 using the online system of the Finland Academy (http:www.aka.fi/en-GB/A/Funding-and-guidance/Online-service /) and must involve at least three partners from three different countries from: Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy , Norway, Portugal , Spain.

The Italian Ministry of Education ,University and Research will fund the Italian public bodies or businesses and private organizations in accordance with the Community rule called " Virtual Common Pot" for a total amount of € 300,000 as a grant to research centers and universities, € 400,000 as credit to businesses.
