EUSEAMAP3 (2018-2020) “Operation, development and maintenance of a European Marine Observation and Data Network - LOT 2 Seabed Habitats”

The main objective of the project is to create a digital map of the seabed habitats at European level, by collecting all the data already existing in an easily accessible database, capable of interfacing with various IT operating systems. The project foresees to carry out an evaluation of the wave and oceanographic data available (temperature, salinity and chemical parameters on the seabed) on the Mediterranean, Black Sea and Macaronesia and a specific study for the determination of the energy at the bottom due to sea currents on the basis of information on the state of the sea, bathymetry and sedimentology
